I don't think it's a big deal, but something about my car is bugging me. I used to be able to let go of the steering wheel and the car would remain driving straight.
But now when I drive, I notice the car is turning to the left a little bit, and I need to move the steering wheel to the right a bit to correct it. Is that normal? Am I crazy? (possible)

You need to take it to a shop and get a realignment. Do this before you put many miles on it, because if you leave it as is it your tires will wear out unevenly and they will get destroyed.

This should be fairly cheap at any shop that will do it(not all will, they need a machine that uses lasers and such to do it properly).

I'd just wait until you get new tires to get the alignment done. Shops usually give you a discount.

Unless you have new tires. And is unsafe to have it misaligned(lmao, I've had vehicles so horribly misaligned that it could take some of the sharpest turns on the local highway without any hands. ;).

    Same.

I wouldn't call it unsafe. Misalignments are all pretty much slow drifts until the angle becomes sharp to force a violent change of direction. But if you have drifted your attention away from the road that long, then you've got bigger problems.

If you have new tires, then maybe. Just maybe.

I'd suspect it's a realignment problem as Syndrome mentioned. Expect to pay about $40-50 for a 2-wheel alignment and $60-70 for all 4 wheels (YMMV).

Oh, I didn't know it was such a big deal. But I can't afford new tires + this alignment thing. Maybe if I ignore the problem it'll go away. :)

With cars, ignoring the problem always ends up costing more when you finally have it fixed....usually a LOT more!

Have an alignment done as soon as you can. If you don't, you'll be buying a new set of tires a lot sooner! ;)
