I played it using InterVideo WinDVD
    it says

    ---------------------------
    InterVideo WinDVD
    ---------------------------
DTS decoding is not supported by this version of WinDVD.
Please select another audio track or visit www.intervideo.com to upgrade Audio Booster with DTS Support.
    ---------------------------
    OK
    ---------------------------

Went to the web, i 'think' i upgraded it
    but nuthin :(

    Umm havent yet
how do you play 'normal dvd' format with VLC or media player though?

Like, if its just .avi or .mpeg format, all i do
is just drag the particular file to the player.

    But this;
its like 2 main folder in the DVD
    AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS

right-click on the file and select "open with..." (and then obviously the player you want to open it with).

Have you tried playing a DVD without a DTS soundtrack - e.g. Dolby Digital 5.1 instead? The error seems to be saying that WinDVD can't decode DTS...

But in case you only have one DVD to hand, it's rare that a disc only uses DTS, because of just this type of scenario. Try using the disc menu (or player menu) to select an alternative audio track which doesn't use DTS encoding. ;)
