There are no "Couche-Tard"s (or their english equivalent, "Mac's") outside of Quebec and Ontario. This makes me safe :)

but they're paying for people's repairs and rental cars. If that happened down here they'd drag it out for as long as possible

Oh, this thread was just full of potential:

"Canadians watch out!" Thought it was a warning that something sinister was gonna happen to them (so disappointing :( )

Then I misread the sign in the photo as "D*****-Tard".

    :err:

    D*****-Tard Petrol?

I thought that Canadian had funny names for things, but damn! (again, so disappointing I read it wrong! :( )

And the actual issue of filling the wrong storage tank with diesel.

    So here's my headline:

Beware Canadians! D*****-Tard Petrol put the diesel in your gas.

For some people, they want to keep their car from repairs just cause its a pain in the rear.

I have never seen a Couche-Tard gas/petrol station as far as I can recall...

For the record "Couche-Tard" is French for "sleeping late" which was a reference to the corner store's late hours (kind of like 7/11 in the stt

Ah, that makes a lot more sense than my ignorant guess of "slow couch."
