Strange... so you got another larger powerbrick? Does it work with your M1710?

Thats one piece of the power cord. The piece that plugs into the PC. The other piece plugs into this, then the wall. Please tell me you are joking....

I have the larger power brick yes, and the cord that goes from the wall, into that brick, and then to my computer.

But i also recieved this smaller brick..it is only 19 volts...i doubt it can power this beast.

I guess ill keep joking, or please, explain to me!!

also like i said, this one i quite small

Looks like the power brick for my old laptop. I have a Dell Latitude that uses that kind of power brick. Maybe someone messed up in Malasia or Tennesse and put it in your box. After I got my I9300, I thought they weren't making those. In the first picture, the side of the brick that can't be seen, does it have a green light?

Nick... you should try chating with dell support online. Give them the part # of the power supply thing and see if they can tell you what it is.

It's a power adapter for a Latitude X1 notebook. Did your notebook come STRAIGHT from Dell to you, or did it come from your "source"?
