I downloaded btwaudio.sys but the file downloaded is older (July 2012) than the one in my laptop (Aug 2015). I am reluctant to replace my copy by an older one. Please help.

reinstall your bluetooth with the latest drivers. (probably just the wifi package tbh)

And a single one off BSOD shouldn't be looked into imo, if it keeps happening then look to fix it.

I updated the driver and rebooted. Now I have to test if I get the BSoD when it wakes up after sleep. Not too keen on doing so right now because I fear the BSoD. I'll let you know how it goes as soon as I feel brave enough to take the plunge :)

My phones wonderful auto correct kicked in again, I should have said "And a single one off BSOD shouldn't be looked into"

This is what I understood. But It was not a single BSoD, I'd get a BSoD each time I woke my laptop up after having put it to sleep.
