    I have a spare zotac 1070 that i would be willing to part with. Ill eveb load it with the modded TDP vbios i use. Let me know.

    Much appreciated. It is such a good combination i barely ever use my 1080 ti desktop anymore.

    For the same reasons really, I'm actually quite cheap. 5TB for 130 is hard to argue. The ssd cache is more just because I think it would be neat along with having an on board router.

    I might try the dmc slot, I've got another msata ssd in my M4600 I could hook up and see if it detects it.

    Regarding your 1070 I'll send pm when I am in a better position to buy, assets aren't liquid at the moment but hopefully in a couple weeks so thanks for the offer.

    Is there a way I can load that VBIOS into my ZOTAC 1070?

    Does the zotac card run 150w since its running MSI vbios or are those values separate?

    On average it stays between 90w and 135w under full load. It does not consistently run at 150w regardless od the TDP setting.

    it can peak a bit over 150W some times but it's not a constant 150W (151w actually for a desktop 1070) and that's a good thing really: you don't want your gear to die :D

    Bit of a question for you guys.

    Say you added a fan to the center HDD bay. Would a spliced PWM wire work borrowed from the CPU?
