The Cygnet made sense from a practical sense (in the way that Aston Martin-branded luggage makes sense...most people who have a supercar probably have something else that they take to the crowded parking garage of the grocery store) but still was lame because it was a rebranded car from an unrelated manufacturer. The i3 is designed and engineered by BMW from the ground up. It's even RWD, almost unheard of in the eco-car segment. The i3 is far from perfect in my mind, but I like it a LOT better than the Cygnet.

No no no.. just no.. Not only is it FUGLY but its also electric? Double fail.. really triple if you count the interior in, looks like good materials just poor execution.

BMW interiors have always fallen short, to me. especially when u compare them to the newer Benz, Audi, and even Lexus' interiors.

I normally agree, but I really like this particular one. Then again, it is more of a Volvo interior then a typical Bimmer interior.

That cygnet looks like a Vantage after going through a trash compactor...

And personally I think iDrive is one of the worst control mechanisms in today's euro luxury cars. I can not get used to it for the life of me. It's just a pile of unnavigable, unintuitive menus.

Could this have been inspired by the Pontica Aztec 2003_pontiac_aztec_3700_sharon_9010154.jpg ??

Nah, I don't think that BMW is purposefully targeting meth producers.
