Come to think of it, the person who I just bought the Toughbook from sent me recovery discs as well. 1 and 2. How would I employ those properly in terms of what I am attempting to fix?

Verify in bios that the DVD will boot before the HDD.
put disk one into the dvd and reboot.
    It will ask questions then
DELETE everything and reinstall the drive/os to factory new condition.

Then you will need to manually install the WWAN driver package after you download it from Panasonic, If you have a WWAN card.

AFTER the drive is restored using all original hardware and confirmed working, You can swap the 7260 back in..BUT
The 7260 ac will work nicely, but I never could get the Bluetooth to work on anything but the original 6235. I have seriously tried 6-10 different cards and spent days on this issue.
7260 will require a download from Intel

802.11ac is way more important than bluetooth for me. Personally, I find BT to be a PITA.

If you want both, I suggest a micro bluetooth usb stick.
I have gotten a micro usb BT to work using a miniPCIE to usb adapter in the WWAN slot.
Metal case means the range sucks.

    @ thespiritofradio

    Are you in USA?
If so, I will send you are card to experiment with.
It's a Bluetooth only card. Mini PCIE fits in WWAN socket.

So I decided to go back and reread this post, must have missed it the first time. Turns out I missed 1 bluetooth driver at the bottom that needed uninstalling. Just now figured it out.... I literally uninstalled 1 intel corporation IVT Bluetooth driver down at the bottom of my default programs and the default windows driver immediately showed up and started installing. As you can see in the lover corner it popped up. I am running the AC7260 card.

    7260 really...
keep me posted. make sure you can enable bt and connect to it.
Maybe the mk4 will recognize the 7260 BT and the mk3 bios will not.
