with the 6235 installed, go to the bios and click the advanced tab.
    What does it show?
    Does it show WLAN--enabled
does it show bluetooth at all?
I can check my mk3 during lunch and report what it shows.

photos of your bios would help.
    main page and advanced page

    check your bios version.
Does it have an M in it follwed by a couple of numbers? Like in this photo.

I'll have to check the M but I did look at it yesterday and can confirm that it does say WLAN enabled, it does show Bluetooth and that its enabled. I can get you a screen today. I might reset BIOS to defaults.

Additional details. The other thing I tried is swapping the wifi cards. The 6235 in the mk4 and the 7260 in the mk1. The mk1 immediately worked with the 7260 and the mk4 still didn't work with the 6235. I have tried uninstalling all drivers remotely relating to Bluetooth.

Sounds like you may have a custom BIOS..hmmm
    Just to make sure,
The wifi DOES work with either card in the mk4?

    ok
    It is a standard bios.
Did the 6235 card come in the mk4 or did you get it somewhere else?
