Doubt anyone could make that happen in the US as much as I'd love it.

    Ludicrous... garbage, LOL.

But, but, but... people don't need to upgrade WiFi!!!

Really? Nobody ever told me that. I've done it a number of times. I've had WiFi cards that were junk, too. Shouldn't have to break out soldering tools for this. Extremely stupid, same as soldering in the SSD would be. But, looks like wherever you get is what you got for good on this hunk of junk.

Sign of the times... expect more demonstrations of retardedness as disposable tech feces continues to circle the drain enroute to the sewer. We will have whatever the lowest common denominators are willing to tolerate.

    Welcome to the poop-o-rama.

Yup, I bet that would get them to pull their heads out. Nothing like a legal obligation to create accountability.

Brother @Papusan is Norwegian. In his spare time he is Voltar, the Norse God of Overclocking and Valhalla's Divine Hater of BGA filth.

I wonder if bro @Phoenix would love this <better> solution to connect the wifi card. I really hope they go for Intel. Killer would be a pain if you hate this brand:D

Expect soldered wifi cards in all models who already contain soldered Cpu - Gpu:p I smell it will come!!

Expect soldered Wifi in every single JokeBook. What brand the wifi come from, doesn't matter!! Take it or leave it. You get what you want when yooo all support aka purchase laptops with everything soldered!! Don't hang the messenger!!:D

Yet another options to loose in the silicon lottery. If you got a i7 BGA who can overclock better than the rest of the trash... Maybe buying - use a usb wifi if the soldered one breaks?

By looking at the fans I don't think there is any economy of space by soldering that Wifi card. I mean, I can understand how soldering the Wifi you could save some space, but really ? RAM is soldered in many new models , sometimes they solder only one slot. Soon they will solder the M.2 card as well and it's over.
