also when it showed on mine i clicked to show me what was the message and there was indeead a message something saying to show a window a startup ...i uncheked that and after restart was fine
also it can be fixed from the services probably there is a option so that service won't comunicate with the desktop...

This link goes to the 32 bit version of the drivers, I went to the site and got the 64bit version, this might be an issue with some that are seeing problems as they are using the 64bit version of Windows 7.
You might check this and see .

And here we go again! My fan on the Video card is going out , it is making a bad sound , I went through this and other things from the day I got this G73.
And to RMA this unit I have to pay again to ship it. Well I have paid enough already shipping it around to be fixed. And I do not have the money to do this.
I wonder if Gary is around and can get this fixed as I am going to lose the use of the computer again. I already went 10 weeks with out it from the first, and now I have to come up with more money? Anyone know how to get hold of anyone who can help? Let me know if you do. Thanks

The last BIOS expired on YouSendIt. The file no longer exists

I just got my ASUS from warranty they changed motherboard again. Few hours later the touchpad is not working (was working when I was there).

    Anything new on this?

I got it from there. Flashed it via WinFlash. After a while the touchpad started getting unusable again, same as previous motherboard.

I tried flashing it via EasyFlash (BIOS Menu) as people don't recommend WinFlash anyway. It seemed successful but after Shutdown, my laptop is not powering.

Not sure what to do, ASUS Sydney center is too far from my work and this is getting too much. Will have to excuse from work and send it again to ASUS, with a hope they don't just do another motherboard replace only for the third time!

Did you force the update? When you used EasyFlash, did it recognize the bios as a g73 bios?
