Best performance for Photoshop laptop

    moviemarketing is on the money - Quadro/FirePro class cards are needed when special functionality is required, especially 10-bit display support. Unless you need to drive a 10-bit display or have a specific use for GPU acceleration (mainly OpenGL) - which again, Photoshop doesn't use to any significant degree - then don't bother.     I have an AMD FirePro class graphics card in my notebook and use Photoshop on a regular basis. I once installed the standard Radeon drivers and noticed zero difference in performance.
