Hello, been awhile since I posted a thread!

My knowledge on current tech has fallen off quite a bit so I am looking for some assistance.

I need a new Wifi card (PCIe half size) for my Asus G73SW. I am looking for the best one available. I currently have an Intel 6200 that sucks pretty badly. My phone right next to my computer gets 80+Mbps on Speedtest while my computer gets 10-20Mbps.

I have a Xfinity AC/N Router, while I think N is plenty sufficient, if there's a good AC card that will work better I'm open to all suggestions. Range & speed seems to be my main problem.

    Thanks in advance

Intel 7260 would be my bet - it got to a rough start but they finally fine tuned the drivers.
Are you using 2.4GHz band with your Intel 6200?

Okay thanks, I'll look into that one.

Yes I believe I'm on 2.4Ghz since the whole 5.0Ghz doesnt like going through walls thing, lol. Quite a few walls to go through. I admit that I'm in a somewhat bad spot with my router. Router is downstairs and I'm upstairs on the other end of the (small/medium sized) house. However my phone has zero problems with this so i know something's up with the card in my computer.
