I like Firefox, but they keep making the extensions no longer work after updates. I mainly use Opera on my notebook. If I could find a way to turn off tooltips, I'd probably switch top Opera for all my machines.

In Settings > Browser, in the User Interface section clear the box labeled "Enable the search pop-up when selecting text". No need for a "feature request", it already exists.
I hate DuckDuckGo, it never finds anything. With Google search, I found what I want from the first search result but with the Duck I have to go to the next pages and fish around [IMG] to find it. Let Google spy on me all they want, I'll never use anything else. [IMG]

Sooo, how about that new Firefox for Android?

I am quite pissed about it, aside from the performance issues, the terrible tab organizer and the addon incompatibility, it doesn't even load websites! Just sits there with the progress bar in the middle... I have to use Chrome now.

Firefox was quite literally perfect on Android, for me. Now it's a pile of ****. I can't believe they spent time and money on this

I never EVER liked Firefox on Android. Its bookmarks UI is horrible. Then add to that the horrible UI and bloatware they keep adding on the desktop version, that's one of the main reasons I switched to Chrome. Better synchronization with my phone in terms of bookmarks/passwords and a night and day better UI on Android [IMG]

Firefox is still working just fine for me, just had to move the search back to the top and all is normal again...

Firefox is the best for me. I have to use Chrome for work and it is atrocious; even limited functionality aside, don't understand how can anyone like it.

However, Mozilla destroyed Firefox for Android, and I can't find an alternative so far. Hopefully they won't ruin the desktop version at least.

I started using Brave on my phone several months ago and have gotten used to it on my phone. I don't know anything about the button or whatever that stuff is that you can earn. I just ignore it.
Shortly after we got our new laptop, I installed it on there and have been using it ever since.
Yesterday, I installed Firefox on the computer and phone. But, what little I've used it, I don't really like it. Maybe it's because I'm used to using Brave. I also tried DuckDuckGo on the phone. I don't like it, either. Just too minimal.

I might try Pale Moon for a day or two and maybe Sea Monkey. I don't know anything about them, but I like the names. :>)

I do use DuckDuckGo as my search engine.
