    hi guys

    i had my gs75 stealth only 6 months~

i try to maintain my battery best way possible, yet am surprised HW monitor reports battery wear level 17% !! does that mean my battery life will reduce ?? what caused it and how to fix it if possible ??!?!

this really annoys me because its still practically a new laptop and i haven't abused the battery or the laptop in any ways, can i request RMA from MSI over this issue ?...

what about MSI battery calibrate tool in Dragon Centre will it help ?...

    thanks,

try calibration ,,,,and read numbers after calibrated

,,.most this problem create BATTERY MASTER "max ECO setup" 60./. recharge cycle :D
90-100./. recharge cycle -my recommended for performance

wear level --must read after calibration "when still exist" -- bad battery
,,but 17./. ? still ok ,,around 30./. up -problem "get more EC limit"

    example "life/time"
my gt75 - after 3 years or more still 7./. "90-100./. recharge cycle" ,,,but not using battery mode :D
    ,.check it after calibration ;)

r u saying that this problems mostly occurs when using Eco setting ?!.. why is that ???!...

finally i turn off my laptop when am down to 10% , or should i do it sooner ?...

any other advises to minimize battery wear or prevent it ?...

    thanks,

90-100./. recharge cycle "max mobility" --best way for performance // battery calculation works normal
,.max ECO "power save" in BATTERY MASTER setting ,..,max 0-60./. recharge cycle limit -- this after time create "fake" wear level

and max performance - full battery + AC all time // minimal wear level

    according to use
frequent discharging - better recharge cycle 0-60./. "battery protection" but this create "fake" wear level // possible more power limits for HW
or 90-100./. recharge cycle "max mobility" // all time AC -- max performance

always depends on wear after calibration

    edit
MSI BATTERY CALIBRATION -- this remove WEAR LEVEL and change your setting in windows power scheme "when app run"
,.,.,.check this setup after calibration ,.,."sometimes revert-back" not works

    APP separately or in DC
for DC 2.6 "8-9th" ,.,better try build in app in dragon center
    https://download.msi.com/uti_exe/nb/ap_MSI Battery Calibration_v1.0.2001.2101_1.0.2001.2101_0x870e6e6b.zip

,.,. reset for power scheme "if the calibration fails"

Every discharge drops battery condition about 0.1 - 0.2 %. The battery life is about 1000 charge - discharge cycles. but may also be as low as 300 - 500. Full discharge is the most detrimental for longevity.
