Battery on sager np8690?

    i was thinking, maybe they can make a dock-like battery for the sager? make it like 12-cell, with at least 6000 mAhs,

    it can be a 1 inch thick dock that can fit in the same way as the original 3800 mAh battery.

    the problem with the 8690's battery is its only a 3-cell.
    i dont think downclocking or switching to an arrandale would help much.

    I wonder why buying a second battery never occurred to anyone in this thread.

    Or, like i said above:

    if you're willing to have a thicker laptop, i say they should make a battery that acts like a docking station, and attaches itself the same way the default tiny battery does.

    i'm for it if i can get more battery life.

    So that's what you meant. I thought you had in mind one of those desktop bound docks with all the ports and whistles. What the hell is wrong with me today.

    yea, is there anything similar to that idea of a "battery dock" out there?
