Man I really hate to be Scrooge in this thread, but it makes no sense to build an M13X when they have the M11X already on the market. Personally I like the idea of a 13" AW, but it's not fiscally responsible.

Can we expect whatever product they show off in CES, to go on sale immediately?

Or will we have to wait another month?

some will be on sale straight away, but with alienware i would say its safe to presume that it will be 1-2 months after its shown at ces

I don't see it happening either, especialy if you know a decent m11x (i.e. with the core i7 cpu, 4gb ram and 500gb hdd) costs as much or even 100-200€ more than an m15x (also with a core i7) here in belgium.

It's not the first time a thread like this gets replies on how it is financially, or strategically unfeasible for Alienware to introduce another model of some x size.

The same thing happened before the M11x was released. A lot of people here were saying the same things that are being said now about a potential M13x.

I'm not saying that it will happen, all I am saying is that nothing is out of the question for these guys. If there is a market for it, I'm sure they are looking into it.

Yeah I do and I know this year will be the same. It's become the norm in the industry. People are just referring to how AW worked in the past prior to it's merger with Dell.

    They should just release a M11x-R3, M13x, M15x-R2, M17x-R3, M19x, M21x & M24x so people can then wonder why there is no M32x yet. :D ;)

Seriously though, I would like to see a number pad on the M15x line, full size keys on the M11x line, more color options & cosmetic options for the back of the screen that are similar to the pre-Dell skullcap & ripley.
