I don't know if the "Bad-REDACTED" part is good or bad...

And I just noticed that the Alien-head has an Alien-head inside similar to those on the lids of their laptops.

Also, why is the domain pcworld.com?

pcworld - good question. Have no idea. Perhaps some marketing agreement.

Is there really much mystery left? We already know what the M17x-R3 is going to look like and the benchmark results. Guess that leaves M15x/M11x and I doubt they will get anything exciting. I don't even know if sandy bridge will really outperform a 920xm/940xm chip that has the benefit of Throttlestop since those can perform at desktop CPU levels and give locked mobile chips a sound thrashing. Just for reference, an unlocked 920xm using Throttlestop at 100 TDP is 2x the performance of a 720qm if not more. I don't expect sandy bridge to provide a similar boost in performance. I am quite interested in the Geforce 500 mobility series and if nVidia follows what they're doing on the desktop level, they should outperform AMD. The Cayman 6950/6970 desktop card was a big fail vs GTX 580.

Barts wins vs. GF104. Particularly in dual GPU configs.

GTX 580M does still have a chance though since it might be rated at a 70W TDP without the memory. Though that would lead at least me to think it's not a card you'd find in a thinned down M17x.

I heard from a friend today that they are re-designing the laptop range to have a carbon fibre body to make them really light and thin.. he read it somewhere like a month ago apparently, but i have no idea if that's true or not

My guess is SB M17x. I'm excited to see it. Probably keep my R2 for a while, till dell replaces it with an R3 :p
