Yeah I denied the permissions...great I have to deal with nag screen now :x

EDIT: I think I found a way to do it. Not 100% sure, give me a little time to play with the permissions.

Well, after much debate and reading in these forums downloaded Avira, so far seems to be running clean without issue. Been 2 months without anything other than Windows Defender, thought it best to add.

Everytime I tried to perform a system scan, it gives me an error near the end. It is something similar to the one posted on this link http://forum.avira.com/wbb/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=85713. Anyone experiencing the same issue? This had never happen in version 8. I already reinstall it twice but to no avail. Should I revert back to the previous version? Thanks.

Avira is the latest anti virus software .

it has many new features to remove the viruses.

it is better than the trend micro or avg.

it is the best one today.

I'm having this problem. I haven't found a solution to it yet either and i've spent quite a while trying to find a way to fix it. If anyone knows of a solution please let us know. Hopefully this will be fixed soon.

Hey guys, I have a questions about Avira, which I've never tried before. I like having A/V software on my system, but I don't like them always running in the background. Can I fully disable it from starting at boot, and simply run it when I want to?

    Thanks!

You should not disable the real time protection (Avira - Guard) from starting up at boot. That's the whole purpose of running an antivirus software.
If you disable it, you won't protected in real time (access files, browsing, etc).
