Yeah, it automatically updated for me, and continues to do so.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't do email checking.

I've been using Avast for a year and half. Updates all of the time.
    It blocked that SpySheriff download:)

i am using Avira. Have just made a system scan, and Avira has found 4 Troyans. Firstly during the scan i moved them to Quarantine, than went to Quarantine and deleted those 4 Troyans, Did i do right? Had they deleted from my system fully?

Yes, they have been fully deleted. It would be a good idea to do another scan just in case though.

I have tried installing Avira Antivir Personal several times and I not been able to get it to work or update. I uninstalled AVG wiped it with Ccleaner and Advanced Windows Care rebooted. I will not run or update. I says "Job Not Found" when trying to update.

I downloaded it from their site and download.com and tried to get it to work 4 times. I went to the support forum on their website and did not find anything related to this issue.

I am wondering if it has anything to do with running Vista Business 32 bit?

I guess that I will try Avast or go back to AVG.

Did you uninstall Norton Inet.Security? if so, then you need to download reg_appdata_winvista from Avira's site or google it. It is caused by Norton that Avira could not update.

I started system scan again and got this error:

i press ok, but window appears again and again. i sent this pic to Avira's support, they redirected me to their forum, but i haven't found solutions for that bug.
Also wanna add that the scan continues itself despite this error appears.

No, I stay far away from anything Norton!

I just get a box saying "Job Not Found" and nothing else. I rebooted and tried again and got the same message.
