Avast or AVG?

    Avast is more tweakable then AVG, you can reduce how much protection you want with Avast making it lighter on system resources aswell.

    Used to use AVG, not anymore.

    I tired Avira. But it was too intrusive and it didn't update as fast as AVG. AVG is my favourite.

    I use Avira Antivir but i'll be looking into AVG when 8.0 comes out.

    Hi.

    why does AVG free, do a scan before checking for new updates, seems stupid to me.

    Also i got AVG professional for free at Christmas, but i still use AVG free, as i cannot see any real difference.

    I've tested and used AVG many times, it's never happened to me. Seems like a scheduled task.
