Auto car Insurance, online?

    Ok, usually when you sell a car all you have to do is both of you sign the title indicating the sale of the car to you, price paid, and odometer reading. Both parties don't have to be present to get the tags.

    Every state has their own unique laws regarding tag/title transfers, some are much easier than others obviously....where (what state) do you live? What about the title transfer?

    In Georgia (where I live), tags stay with the owner not the vehicle at the time of sale. If I bought a car from a friend, they'd remove their license plate and I would either purchase a new one or transfer one already issued to me from another vehicle.
