Do you have an audio Driver Tab in device mgr? If so uninstall the driver and reboot your laptop.

What's the version of the Realtek Audio Driver you are installing?

Did you download and install the latest MSI audio drivers for your laptop? People forget that with the semi-annual updates newer drivers are typically required if they are available. I see that on my Lenovo Desktop. After Build 1903 was released a new BIOS was released just for 1903.

You may want to check and see if there are any required MSI updates such as BIOS or Audio from MSI.

That driver is like ancient and is probably not compatible with the newer build of Windows 10

    1) Download this driver: Realtek Audio Driver for GL63 v6.0.1.8612

    2) Before extracting the ZIP file, right click on it, choose Properties, then at the bottom right if it says this file has been blocked because it came from the internet bla bla bla, hit unblock, then apply, then OK to exit. If you don't do this, then all of the files that you extract will have a BLOCKED status!

To stop this from happening to downloaded files in the future, see: "Are you sure you want to run this file?" [Yes or No]

    3) Disconnect from the internet or go into airplane mode otherwise when you reboot Windows will try to install whatever driver it wants from Windows Update

    4) Uninstall the current driver from Control Panel / Programs & Features then reboot

    5) Install the new driver then reboot after 10 seconds of getting the prompt to reboot as some INF files might still be installing in the background.

Let me know how it goes

    1) Try resetting your BIOS to defaults

    2) Use Display Driver Uninstaller in Safe Mode, then select Audio, then Realtek and do a clean uninstall.

Note: Make sure your Windows account has no password as the password might not work in Safe Mode and you will be stuck in Safe Mode forever
