Where do you adjust it, it could be I'm adjusting it in the wrong place...

Since contrast only goes up to -40 to 40 here...and nowhere near that 100

I am doing it from the advanced options in the display menu (the one you get to from the control panel), I have a "color" tab, not sure if that would disappear/become disabled, when you install the tray tools. As I mentioned before I am using the Omegas but I deselected tray tools on install.

It does look a little weird at first, but once you get used to it, it looks quite nice... ;)

After 5~ months of this settings, I can say, I can't go back. My retinas burn when under the old settings. For some reason it reset so I had to dig for this thread!

    Someone sticky this!!

    In the guides even! :D

These are pretty good settings. Most LCD displays today come set to a very blue color temperature, around 10,000k or so. But most photography and television studios, if I'm not mistaken, use 6500k as a reference point (which refers to a very spcific kind of white).

I should also mention, that if you want to use these settings for video clips, make sure you're not using video overlay mode, because overlay will use still be using the "default" color scheme and it will still be very blue.

In order to have these warm color schemes applied to videos, you must use a player that supports vmr7/vmr9, like media player classic.

I agree, this guide should be somewhere that more people can see it...

I've been using these settings on my z70va for a few weeks and it has helped tremendously with eye strain.
And I thought it was the tiny text! :D

    Thanks!
