If anyone can find confirmation the GX701 uses asus armory crate software and not gaming center that would be great. Might have to give asus another shot, the gx701 looks beautiful.

Here is the official product website from asus: https://www.asus.com/Laptops/ROG-Zephyrus-S-GX701/
You just have to scroll down a bit, and in the chaptre software it shows ROG armoury crate.

Not sure, battery life doesn’t concern me since I’m plugged in 24/7 but yea I didn’t see anything on it.

Oh beautiful thanks! Well sh*t after my huge issues with the hero ii I’m tempted to give asus another shot with the gx701, 144hz, 17”, slim bezels, rtx. Its a beautiful thing. Now 2080 maxq or 2070 is the question lol.

It looks like this just has the 1 m2 pci slot. That is disappointing, you think they could have fit another in there.

Yea that kinda sucks, Looks like the 2080 maxq comes with a 1tb nvme which for me is enough for my laptop. Debating now between the GT75 2080 / GE75 2080 / Zephyrus S 2080 max q.....decisions decisions.

    Storage

    M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 x4 1TB SSD, M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 x2 512GB / 1TB SSD

Looks like it has two m.2 slots
