    Hello Members ,

I recently purchased a Zenbook UX330UA , Kabylake i5 7200 . Just wanted to know is there any possiblity to upgrade the internal M.2 SSD to a NVME model ? Anyone tried & has had success ?

Preferred model to upgrade would be the Samsung 960 PRO / EVO
    or the WD Black

Pls check & let me know your feedback

I myself just ordered one as well and am wondering the same thing. It seems like some of the previous Asus models did support it, but it would be good to get confirmation from somebody who tried first-hand.

I got the UX330UA-AH54. I'm probably not going to do much on it for the time being, as I don't have an M2 drive on hand to test things out.

But if I hear that it is possible to upgrade the SATA SSD to a PCIe NVME drive, then I probably will in the near future.

As per their spec sheet at official site. Its restricted to SATA3, so buy 256GB/512GB Samsung 850 EVO M.2

Thanks, do you happen to have a link for those specs?

I've looked at the manual as well as the "Specifications" section, but found nothing specific, just that Asus sells this model only with SATA3 SSDs.
