I have the Asus Zenbook UX501VW-FI020T. It's one of the variants with only one M.2 SATA3 drive.

I recently installed BIOS version 207. But there is still no nvme option in the BIOS. Will this option only show up after inserting an nvme drive?

I just installed BIOS 207. My computer still works but scrolling with two fingers on the touchpad disappeared.

My touchpad gestures have stopped working once but not because of BIOS 207. Have you tried reinstalling ASUS Smart Gesture?

Yes. You need to install an NVMe SSD for the NVMe option to show in the bios. My Asus Zenbook UX501VW only came with a M.2 SATA3. I put the M.2 Samsung SM951 NVMe SSD and it was immediately recognized. The NVMe option appeared in the bios. There's no doubt the OEM M.2 Samsung SM951 NVMe SSD works, but seems that so far nobody got the Samsung 950 Pro M.2 NVMe SSD to work.

On a separate note, what kind of semi-permanent glue do they use on the rubber boots underneath the Asus Zenbook UX501VW? One of my rubber boots doesn't have any glue and keeps falling off.

you can use sekisui double sided thermal tape. it's very thin, and used to stick heatsinks, but is removable, and it's very strong.

    This should also work.
