    If I am not mistaken, the release date has already been announced back in April at Milan Design Week which is sometime around Christmas time. The pricing was €2000 for the standard configuration. Pretty steep if you ask me. That 4K definitely will drain the battery very quickly.

    Here are some more information
    [IMG]

    GPU is 850M GDDR5 (happy for that, ddr3 would have been a flop)
    CPU is i7 4712HQ...regarding notebookcheck is just slyghtly powerless than 4700HQ/4710HQ (we are talking about 2300 - 3300 MHz instead of 2400 - 3400 MHz of 4700HQ and 2500 - 3500 MHz of 4710HQ;
    the integrated gpu is the same HD4600, but with different voltages: 400 - 1150 MHz vs 400 - 1200 MHz of 4700HQ/4710HQ;
    TDP is 37 W vs 47 W of 4700HQ/4710HQ )

    CPU is haswell so IMHO the news of release date of Christmas 2014 ISN'T RELIABLE... Also, that rumor was an ASSUMPTION of an Italian tech website.

    It's definitely touchscreen. You can see that in the very first videos of NX500 on YouTube.

    I like the dual storage option. This is something that most new laptops seem to be missing lately. I'm really impressed with this laptop. Hopefully the keyboard and trackpad quality is nice. Wonder if it has the subwoofer jack gimmick.

    Edit: I also like the charger connection. My last Zenbook had that - changes colors to indicate if charging is done.

    Looks awesome. Wish it would come out sooner than September.

    Loving the design and specs of this notebook. Everything except the glossy screen and the lack of a number pad.

    This looks like it will be on the Razer tier of premium pricing. Don't think they would offer the 512 GB ssd version for 2000 or less, so I'm likely sticking with the y50 4k...

    Pci-e ssd option is going to be really pricey I bet! Still, it's an option even the top laptops lack.

    Does anybody know if the GX500 has an anti-glare screen?
