If that is true, Asus has just developed the equivalent of "beer goggles" for laptop consumers. It's last call, and you never noticed it before, but suddenly the Gigabyte P35G V2 looks good... really good.

Well, it look sleek and beauty..but from the front view, it look almost like a Macbook Pro...
Unfortunately we still dont know when it will be launched and what specs, but I guess we will know more maybe in June at Computex...

    So what we know yet:
    - 3840x2160 display panel
    - Haswell i7 (but quadcore or dualcore?!)
    - 4GB DDR3 starting model
    - HDD and SSD models (why still offer a HDD 'solution' in a highend notebook anno 2014, yeah to bring price down, but you lost half of a speedy machine)

Do we know GPU? Measurements? Weight? Any decent pics/vids without all the fancy blue lights

EDIT: appears to be 19mm thick, hope they put a maxwell GDDR5 GPU inside

I'm curious to know what GPU and CPU they will offers, but typically Asus, they will taking long time to reveal full info regarding their new products just like before :|

That would be a disaster, even a DDR3 maxwell would be disappointing, but a 64bit DDR3 kepler part is just laughable
If thats true then... a 1000$ pricepoint would be more realistic...

it's terrible if it's true they still opt to use old GPU in the middle of 2014... Just make me more curious xD

*I doubt the GPU info from omglaptop website (which I never heard before), as even very reliable Notebook Italia website doesn't mention about the GPU info whether they use old GPU or not.

Well, in june macbooks probably refresh and almost for sure they will put in a GTX850M or GTX860M.
I am realy considering a macbook pro retina 15 now, but will only be running windows on. They always say they are expensive,
and they are, but nobody can offer a decent alternative, it always lack in one department, design or batterylife or display quality...
there are no alternatives... Dell XPS15 runs hot but refresh will only come in october/november, lenovo Y50 is just ugly, Razer blade not available in Europe..

For me Apple machines aren't an alternative due to the horrible screens they have - just say no to glare!
