Assuming I can get both for the same price, with expected longevity of about 2 years with resale value considered, and both are due in stock around middle of August end of July.

Pros for the A15 - 1tb ssd for the same price, 90whr battery, dedicated track pad buttons (I miss these),
Cons for the A15 - screen color isn't the best but is not that important as it will be parked with an external monitor 50% of the time. Maybe a little more gamer-looking than I prefer

Pros for the RP15 - Superior build quality, boosted RTX 2060, Better cooling solution, better screen, smaller and lighter.
Cons for the RP15 - smaller battery 60whr, loud (supposedly), no enter button on numpad. (numpads are a requirement for me)

The name asus and runaway are synonymous with each other.

Well... U've pointed out ur usage possibility. Matrix RP15 is the one to go, for cooling design and better screen than what Eluktroiks can offer.
