The only attempt for OC was done under Linux and no results were made public to my knowledge, under windows the OC is impossible without an custom bios or special drivers maybe

I managed to OC my RX580 to stable 1370/2175 on my HP OMEN 17-an012dx, started by OCing the Core, running Unigine Heaven helps to test initial OC and then playing a game for stability.

Extracted 2 copies of my bios with AMD/ATI ATI FLASH, modified one with Polaris Editor, all you have to add to the bios is on powerplay 2000 max core and 2250 max Gddr, flash bios and you are done. You will be able to use Wattman and Afterburner.

    download link for AMD/ATI ATIFLASH

    Small problem.
If Vengace has GL702ZC, the RX 580 in that laptop might end up bricked with your VBIOS flash because the RX 580 in HP Omen comes with 8GB... whereas the GL702ZC version comes with 4GB.

My point is that flashing the vBIOS could kill your GPU because he's porting a vBIOS that's programmed for 8GB of VRAM... whereas your GPU has 4GB of VRAM.
You'd probably need a vBIOS from a desktop RX 580 that has 4GB that you might be able to flash.

But hey, its your laptop... just be sure you can restore the original vBIOS in case something goes wrong.
And please, let us know how it goes.

I'm personally not inclined to try that because of the aforementioned problems... and the fact that the desktop clocks would drive power consumption through the roof... not sure if the GL702ZC would be able to handle that.
