This model with liquid metal seems like it would be a front-runner in terms of performance. I have to find one in person to look at.

Spoke with Donald at HIDEvolution on Friday; can't wait to put an order in this week. These units seem to be heading out as soon as they come in. I think it's interesting how Asus designed the mobo to enable faster storage. 8 PCIe lanes for the GPU is still more than enough though.

    I have a question.

Is it possible to change keyboard button places for a such a laptop?

If I buy the laptop from Germany, I would like to change Z and Ys places :)

I'm not sure if there's a European keyboard layout, but I am sure there is software that will let you remap the keys.

Order placed from HIDevolution, can't wait to get the unit in and get this thread started. :)

Well, my point is only visual. I do not mind what letter is where actually.

I am also quite interested in G703GS with 1070 GPU. There is not a single review on the internet and this option is quite limited. It is not sold in Germany or in Scandinavia.

I agree with you, the only G703 review I have seen is for the models with the GTX 1080. There aren't many of these floating around.

My G703GI has moved to Pre-Production status! :D I'm happy to benchmark a bit and provide pictures and initial impressions up until disassembling the unit. I'm also a bit foggy on tuning the CPU for solid performance in XTU/Throttlestop.

I have the unit! What would you guys like me to take a look at? Thank you @Donald@HIDevolution! The unit is in great condition! I ran multiple instances of Cinebench and was rocking 1525 as my lowest score (on the first run, as the fans had to spool up).

Congrats! What model did you get? i7/i9, 1070/1080? I'd also be curious as to whether you can use the notebook without the second AC adapter in. And what's the fan noise and temps like while gaming?
