Regarding the reviews on main page, they're for end users, people who've used the notebook for their purpose of buying it in the first place.

However, dealer reviews are much appreciated and give off a 'first hand look' at new toys. Of course, thanks again for the preview :D

The speaker quality is just average, just like normal laptop speakers.

Here is a video of Blue-Ray movie, check it out:

Hi Ken, can you tell me anything about the heat this laptop expels? I have heard quite a bit about the G1s heating issues, does this laptop resolve that in any way? I've been very hesitant in getting one because of the heat issues.

Also, how is the screen visual quality (not blu-ray, just overall)? And when do you think we will see a 9600m GT DDR3?

ken u dont think that ASUS will kill G1sn coz they didnt put GDDR3 memory ??
i'd prefer to buy F8SN-B1 its smaller plus ill save 400$

EDIT: G1S have 1GB more memory + 70GB more for storage plus GAMER look :D

It's still the same notebook as G1S except the video card and CPU.
the upper right hand side feel little warm, not hot:

The screen quality is the same as G1S, the color is cold and the M50SV has warm color:

Right now we won't see any Asus 15" notebooks with 9600M GT GDDR3, hopefully sometimes in the future soon, even their new G2Sg uses 8700M GT with GDDR3 not the 9XXX series.

G1Sn is here to stay for a while, I also want to see 9XXX series with GDDR3 memory as much as you do.:)

Thanks Ken! Yeah, I really want DDR3 memory, I hope they release it soon. By the way, does the notebook feel flimsy? I've heard everyone saying that this particular notebook has terrible build quality. I hope it has good longetivity at least...I'd need it to run with no problems for a few years.

I have the G1S and since its basically the same as the G1Sn, i'll tell you about the heat issue. When gaming, the CPU temp can get up to or over 90degrees. It feels extremely warm, maybe a bit uncomfortable as well. Their is a solution to this, and its on the G1S resource thread. It involves using RMclock and lowering the amount of unneeded electricity supplied to the laptop. I was able to tweak it and now, it never goes above 70. IN this case, I don't even feel it on the keyboard and I lost no performance whatsoever

    Thanks for the review Ken.

I am a owner of the previous version of the G series, the G1s.
I hope this is not too troublesome, but can you post some temperatures of the GPU while idling and in game. I would love to see if high GPU temperatures are caused by the lack of cooling or does the 8600m GT run especially hotter.
    Thank you.
