Is it still only possible to purchase the American version from Acer's website? Would be nice to see if anyone else has a lower price.

Hey guys I just got the laptop but I have an issue. The resolution is stuck in 1366 x 768, i cant change it to 1080p. Anyone have a similar issue?

Device manager says generic pnp monitor.

Hey guys, does this laptop has a backlit keyboard?
How many mSATA and HDD can this laptop fit?
    Is it full aluminium?
Where can I get one in the UK?
Will it void the warranty if I upgrade the HDD or maybe change it to SSD?
Also what's with the USA and Canada version? Aren't they the same?
Can someone test FIFA 13 in it? Can it run high or ultra at 1080p? I'm not a hardcore gamer, but it's nice to game once in awhile.

I have the M5 (last year model)

It is not full Aluminiun, Is plastic but i has aluminiun on the top of the screen and the keyboad, to be honest it looks a feel really nice, is not the comon low budget plastic.

msata i think the maximun is 500 Gb, (but i think panasonic is bringing some 1gb units)
    I dont know about UK
It will not void the warranty,
They have different memory (canada have less memory 8Gb vs 12Gb), different CPU (canda i5 vs US i7, but i dont think you would ever see the difference).
You would be able to play fifa 13 at 1080p, i do that know and mine is an older model,

Guys received my Acer v7 482 Canadian version. WOW. The screen is worlds better then the hp envy 14 2013 model I have. just a initial look. the trackpad is a little rough but im not comapling I can get used to it. It a personal preference id say. Laptop feels very nice sturdy. id say its aluminum. Snappy and fast. only thing I need is if anybody can kick me in the right direction to install a clean version of windows. Does the acer recovery have its own methods or do I have to go in a reinstall it my self? first time dealing with a ssd cache so im a little afraid of messing something up.
