I'm not sure who reads this thread but I have a problem with the X9 battery.

It drains after shutdown. I'm a super windows user so I've checked all the sleep/hibernate/disable fast startup/change what closing lid power buttons do.
    Disabled RTS in bios.

Sometimes I'll notice the bottom is warm as well. Otherwise great battery life but man it's always draining when powered down.

It shipped with some new build of windows 10 so tonight I will install windows from my trusty windows cd and hopefully it's just a bug in the OEM operating system.
    I'll follow up my findings.

Nope, never saw that on my unit. How much power do you "lose" ?
I did a fresh install of Windows upon delivery though, so I never truly used the system in its OEM state.

    Ahh a fellow x9 comrade!

I'm going to install my usual copy of windows today and hopefully that fixes it.

Seems every night I lose either all of it (0%) or half to 3/4 power. Whether I hold the power button for 5 seconds till it turns off or do a proper shutdown. I listen and the fans are off. But lo and behold next morning the laptop bag is warm and battery's been drained.

Its windows 10 pro,. Some weird build maybe with a bug.

    Damn right !
Well there's two of them now : the SLI (which I own) and the 1080. I don't see many users here though...

    And no, I'm from France.

Honestly I'm quite happy with it. Haven't had a SLI in a while but so far so good in most games. After a few tweaks in XTU and afterburner, everything is great. No battery draining during play, GPUs don't go past 70-72°C, and CPU is around 80°C average @4.1GHz / -100mV.
LM on CPU and kryonaut on both GPUs.

    My review : https://forum.portables4gamers.com/t/test-aorus-x9-v7-une-bete-de-course-avec-i7-7820hk-et-sli-gtx-1070/31007/20 ;)

Currently the Aorus X9 DT and the X7 DT V8 are both available in stock at Newegg.ca.

My X9 DT v8 is in "Pre-Production" with HIDevolution as of today. I was expecting it to take longer since it was a pre-order, but looks like I should have it in a couple of weeks. I'll try to create an owners' lounge...

Cool! I have to say, that Dolby Atmos speaker system has really blown me away. I prefer to watch movies with the X9 on my lap rather than on the big tv. The sound is so enveloping.
