My right hinge on my x7 v6 failed this morning just out of warranty also (by a little over a month). What do you plan to do? I'm not sure if they can replace the entire screen panel because they don't make this model anymore. And with it being out of warranty, I'm not sure how expensive a replacement part would be even if they did have it. Let me know if you have any plans or figure anything out.

    Thanks!

Sorry to hear this happened to you also. Unfortunately replacement parts for this have pretty much been impossible to find anywhere online and the local repair shop were also SOL with their three suppliers. I've had some epoxy applied to the hinge to temporarily keep it together but mine is in really terrible shape so it's not a matter of if it'll fail again but when. I got my Aorus from XoticPC so I reached out to them for a fix estimate last week and they actually just got back to me this morning. It'll cost about $280 plus whatever it'll cost you to ship to Gigabyte.

    Here's the breakdown
    $90 Out of Warranty inspection
$30 Shipping fee for them to ship your laptop back to you after it's fixed
$54 Hinge (I'm guessing per hinge)
    $108 Back cover
