I purchased a brand new xps 9500 but after 5 minutes, it throttles like hell. Both the cpu and gpu are running at 20w. I tried using throttlestop. I undervolted my gpu using afterburner. I even disabled turbo and set 4 cores to be used in the bios. None of these helped. I contacted dell support and they said this should not be happening. Is there anything else i can do or did i just get unlucky?

All your image links are broken.

Use HWINFO64 as its a pretty comprehensive monitoring software that can let you see the limit reasons. Its not exactly a performance crown from what little I have read, requires quite a bit of tuning to get what you can out of it but I wouldnt expect full turbo all the time.

Im assuming its 10th/11th gen Intel? I believe Dell blocked the use of Throttlestop so undervolting might prove difficult.

Temperature can cause power to limit as less power generally is less heat to contend with.

    I would look at HWInfo64

What are your dell power manger settings? Looks like it's throttling because of some setting

Run something like Cinebench R23 with HWinfo or Hwmonitor open to get an idea of how much you're pulling and what your temps look like under a higher load.
