I guess this is the place to ask. I am getting into another field for part time and volunteer work. This role concerns medical encoding and billing. There is a book designated IDC-9-CM which holds over 18,000 codes for each disease and procedures. A shorthand concept for physicians and other health care facilities.
Anyway, this book is bulky and heavy! I know of Meister that runs their software on Palms but are there actual users on this forum? Where would I go to seek reviews on these topics? What kind of PDA or pocket computer do you use. Are any of you replacing your textbooks(reference books - dictionaries, etc.) and relying on PDAs?
Much questions, much imposing but who said I had class?
    Thank you.

Thanks Brian! I only glanced at the links your signature includes. I never indulged myself with those sites until this morning. Many different views. I posted my first now. Will await results.

    Thanks again!
    Sincerely,
