I mean a more higher powered version that the gimped cards (power draw wise) that are in a lot of the Max-Q 30 series laptops.

I'm still rocking my old and original P870DM-G, but given that its screen is damaged , its got 1 GPU which is regularly over-heating and the other GPU just completely died***!!!!( I am in the not too distant future going to be upgrading it.

I know that Clevo/Sager like to release bad boy powerful desktop replacement laptops, and I'm just curious if anyone thinks (or has insider info) about them bringing another to market!

Those distinctions have been watered down but this will certainly be a card that would have qualified as Max-P.

Good I'd definitely prefer max p to max q lol actually it's annoying nvidia did that with the naming in the first place tbh.

Yes, very annoying but then due diligence was also necessary before that.

By the time these become available I am sure that tests already will be out that let us know just how good the perfromance of the 3080 in the X170 will be, especially considering that its CPU may also have a massive power draw in certain situations.

The nh77dpq will ship with 3060's next month apparently, but since no one is mentioning it, I guess it's not recommended or brand new?

It probably isn't exceptionally bad but not recommended if you want something more serious.
