Hey guys, some time ago I made a very similar thread with a similar request.

I am working again with someone that can manufacture a heatsink for me but his native language is Chinese, so getting details across in English is coming off as a garbled mess much like how we first look at Chinese lol.

I believe @Papusan was the one who put me in contact with the individual who greatly assisted me the last time I was attempting this and I did try to find that thread however I just recalled that I was accidentally banned and those threads are gone now.

I would really appreciate this as I believe this ebay seller who sold me the 5 pipe heatsink for my Ranger (56C load temps FTW) can also make a heatsink that would attach 2 more heatpipes to the VRM/mosfet area to prevent overheating just like @loafer987 had with his 1070 installation and also give me more mass to improve the cooling a little bit.

Basically what I ask is to translate a few messages so he can better understand what I am requesting.

Thank you guys, would very much appreciate it

I can give it a shot but technical terms can be pretty hard to translate and varies from place to place, i.e. China vs Taiwan.

    This is the message:

Hey Im in the process of making the test heatsink that I inquired about some time ago now that I am not working 80 hours a week.

I was wondering if you would be able to make a partial GPU heatsink for me(or if easier, a new complete heatsink). I am using the MSI GTX 1070n GPU in my M17x R5 / AW17 R1. This one linked here:

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/NVIDIA-GTX...267554?hash=item1a1c51b922:g:UUsAAOSw7GRZMDjO

It works quite well, but because the VRM location, they overheat at 150w TDP. I am using your older 5 pipe heatsink, and it works amazing. Max temperature is 56C.

Basically what I am asking for is something like this linked here:

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/Deviltech-...xoAAOSwrOtZqE7E:sc:USPSFirstClass!76002!US!-1

It doesnt need cutout, if you can put 2 heatpipes where the VRMs/Mosfets are and line to the exhaust area like how the clevo GPU is, I can take care of the rest. Here is a picture to show, I am using laptop at work so sorry for poor quality. (I sent him a picture of heatsink modified in mspaint from work)

You might worry about the fan, but I will be moving that back to compensate.

Of course, if its easier on you, I can simply purchase a new complete heatsink from you if its easier to manufacture but I would have one more request to add. I think you start with larger radiator and cut to size right? Would you be able to make it a bit longer? Like in the second picture? I will take care of obstruction.

I would be happy to pay extra for these requests as its not something you normally do, but there are others who have issues with this GTX 1070 and its only because of the VRM getting too hot. They are so close together with 150w TDP (laptop was made for 115w TDP)

Oh and also if you need it, I can ask a colleague on my forum to help with communication (Plug DynamiteZerg)

Thank you very much for your time!

    End Message

    @DynamiteZerg

I am in your debt, the only thing from pushing me to buy a different laptop (Helios 500 Ryzen) is making more progress with my dream machine of 2013 lol

    Hi,
I used to live in China for awhile and made a few Chinese acquaintances during that time. Some I still have contact with.
Depending on how much it is they'd have to translate I'd ask them if they'd be willing to do it.
If you are interested pm me. I'd do it myself but can't since this acc was created yesterday
