After looking at these it would seem that there are no 4k / UHD laptops coming out with GTX970m / GTX980m at launch.

I did a quick check of all the machines listed and did not find any that had option for 4k / UHD screen.
If one of the machines has the option, then I apologize in advance, but I couldn't find it.

Considering that there are already a few 4k laptops available this really seems like a missed opportunity.

I am assuming all the manufacturers are holding off till CES 2015?

If so, very disappointed as this was going to be my Christmas present ;)

Going to have to wait till Feb / Mar 2015 now and buy a desktop instead until then.

    Thanks Killerinstinct! Much appreciated!

I didn't see it as the GS60 said 3k and while it was listed on Nvidia's slides, I looked at only 4 out of the 5 listed and actually missed the GS60 on the slide. When I saw it as GS60 3k in the post I didn't think to check.

Agreed, but still before Christmas, so it could be a present ;)

Would have really liked a GTX980m instead though. Given the difference between a GTX980 and GTX980m, I am curious to see how a GTX980m SLI performs against a GTX980.

hehe yeah and it is technically in the Nvidia announcement, maybe the sites linking to it could have done a better job of it stating it was a 4k laptop.
