My nearly 5 year old Vaio VPCEB36FG has a unique problem. The laptop originally came with Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium edition factory installed when I purchased it in December 2010. The pre-installed Windows version also had all Sony and 3rd party softwares installed. Over the years I installed a new license of Windows 8 and then subsequently upgraded to Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 over the internet.

At the time to free up space, I unwittingly deleted and formatted the recovery partition . Moreover the recovery disks now don't work. They have lots of scratches and the optical drive has become weak so it can't detect the recovery DVDs anymore.

Since I am in the process of selling off the laptop and I wanted to restore it to factory condition, please advise as to how I can obtain the recovery image of the pre-installed OS and softwares?
