Title says it all. I wonder if LG has any 14 or 15" with the lastest haswell CPU?
The LG Ultra PC looks very sleek, but battery life is quite bad + no dedicated GPU
I would love to get both, but atleast one of them, I also need the bigger screen size (photoshop, basic CAD)

I hope a 14/15" ultra PC variant is coming

Their current offering in that size segment consists of the 14U530, 15U530, and the 15N530: the 15N530-PT70K being the cream of the crop. Unfortunately, their current-gen notebooks larger than 13.3 inches look half-arsed compared to the 13Z940-GT70K that you sound smitten with. I'd recommend looking at other brands that are currently able to fulfill your needs better, but by all means, feel free to browse their more frequently updated Korean site.

Yeah, that's what I already thought...
I'm looking at the rMB 15, but waiting for a GTX850/GTX860M refresh. Same goes for dell XPS15.
Any other machines that are in that (premium) range?

Asus N550JK, Razer Blade 14, MSI GS60 Ghost Pro, Toshiba P50T, Lenovo Y40/Y50... I'm not saying I'd recommend all of those for Photoshop work, but at least you have a few more options in the 14-15.6" range with powerful graphics that aren't anchors. :p

ASUS N550: DVD drive = NEVER use that, adds more weight and less space for GPU, cooling or battery
Razer blade 14: extremely expensive (since 128gb is no option to me) and dont ships in Europe
MSI, lenovo: dont like gaming notebook design.

I am picky, yes, but that should be expected if you are paying over 1500 euro

I agree on the design choice of having an ODD not being the greatest for those that hardly use optical media and I can understand that you wish for a different design language. However, there aren't many notebooks that fit the bill so I'd recommend making a new thread in the WNSIB section of the forum as this is no longer an LG centric discussion. Best of luck finding the machine that's right for you.
