@vioz_87: aren't you pushing the GPU too hard by overvolting it by 65mV? what are the temperatures you're getting?

my 6630m is stable at 725MHz/945MHz/903mV (mine is just an overvolt of 3mV), and it gives me great performance in Battlefield 3, where the average temperatures are around 85C with the maximum occasionally reaching 91C (but not staying there). i'm not going to push it harder, since SA is smaller than SE/CA/CB and will have a hard time cooling itself down.

On my SE I have it at 721/1075/903 with 9303 in 3dmark06. Temps don't get over 70C.

another overclock for VAIO SA: 725MHz core/975MHz memory/0.908V voltage (that is up from the previous settings of 725/945/904). i am now using the CoolerMaster NotePal U2 cooling pad (with movable fans which i have placed right under the notebook air intakes), and it is working wonders for the GPU temperatures. before this cooling pad, less than 5 minutes of FurMark would increase the GPU temperatures beyond the threshold (95C or 100C maybe?), and the notebook would shut down. with the cooling pad, 10 minutes of FurMark was completely stable with maximum temperature of 89.5C.

    the new 3DMark06 score is 9512 (SM2.0: 3396, HDR/SM3.0: 4276, CPU: 3638); that about 25% increase over the stock settings of 485/800/900.

After reading this thread, I have started overclocking the 6630m on the 15.5" SE. I'm running 725/1075/903 on Trixx. I got max of 70C (on Silent Mode, but on Speed Mode to use GPU) on my racing game.

However, I don't know why 3dmark06 runs very slow on CPU benchmark. It's a ridiculous slideshow (0-1 FPS). GPU benchmark did not crash on those settings though. Why is mine doing that on the CPU benchmark?

^ mine does that too on the CPU benchmark, jumps between 0 and 1 fps! but i don't think the CPU benchmark is important a anyway. what is your 3DMark06 score?
btw, you're lucky you can OC your memory clock above 1GHz with such a low voltage. you must have gotten a pretty good quality chip.

How long did you wait when you are at the CPU benchmark? I didn't want to wait and ended it, so I don't know what my 3dMark06 score is yet.

I haven't tested the settings enough, so might need a little more voltage.
