AMD Radeon 6630M? Overclockable?

    which is the maximum temperature supported?

    there is no maximum supported temperature. overclocking is not supported, period. as far as i know, anything below 85C is considered safe...and the lower, the better!

    shortens the useful life of the laptop?

    BF3 Single 1440x900 all medium no AA, anizo 2x, OC Core 675 Memory 1100; from 24 to 30-40fps, mostly about 27, never below 23. Temp CPU 88-90C , GPU 75C.
    For 1920x1080 and OC with similar setting is 16-22 fps.
    When Core was OC to 690 it was stable in benchmarks, but in BF3 game run for about 5 min and then closed to desktop
    I'll get second 4GB memory module in this week to run memory in dual channel and maybe replace thermal compound to noctua NT-H1.

    core 975? wow! did you have to overvolt the GPU to achieve that high of a clock? that's a pretty insane overclock...i'm impressed.

    Memory can be increased more than the core? in my case core 650 memory 960

    the gpu is only shown at 650MHz only when running games? runs windows in low frequency??

    my best overclock is 650 core 1060 memory at 65℃, in 700 core the pc is crashing

    As long as it's not (a) throttling or (b) a defective nVidia board, don't worry about the temps too much, your GPU will be obsolete before it dies.

    As long as you don't go over 90-95 on a regular basis you should be completely fine.
