you can save up to 4 profiles in TRiXX. make the first one (or whichever you like) set to the default clocks (485/800) and load it whenever you want your original clocks back, and set another one to your overclock settings.

I'm using 700 Core (the slider doesn't let me go higher than this) and 1000 Memory. GPU temp did not exceed 66 degrees in 3DMark06 and I think the score was > 9500.

that's a very good overclock, a very good benchmark score, and a very good temperature. :)

Ok I think I have hit my brick wall.

Core 700 Mem 1100 Voltage stock
Furmark Max Temp: 69 C

3dmark06 - 9920
3dmark10 - P5883
3dmark11 - P1388

btw, you can get above the 700MHz core limitation. just set your overclocks in Trixx and click Apply. then close Trixx, and run it again. now you're able to move the slider past the 700MHz core limit.

your overclocks are amazing, nonetheless. i currently run 735MHz core/933MHz memory/904mV voltage on my VAIO SA. it's very stable and with good temperatures, even when i play Battlefield 3. the Samsung VRAM chips in my laptop are rated at 933MHz; hence, my memory overclock is not actually pushing the memory chips at all. i could push the GPU even higher, but the gained 1-2 frames per second does not justify the extra heat.

I tried closing Trixx etc but that didn't help. However I went into the registry and found a way to manually set the maximum value for the sliders, I set it to 800 Mhz, however pushing above 700 causes frequent and random driver crashses even under no load, so I left it at 700.

As for the memory, I set it to 1150 and my entire screen immediately became garbled with artefacts and PC hung, then BSOD. Hence why I think 700/1100 is pretty much as far as I can go, at least on stock voltage.

I'm using the 12.1 mobility catalyst drivers from AMD installed over the Sony ones, and since doing so I've lost the ability to change or even view the voltage (tried both Trixx and Afterburner). I guess I could push the core further if I was able to overvolt but like you said I doubt the benefits would be worth it. It would be nice to break the 10k barrier in 3DMark06 though even though it doesn't mean much lol.

Tried somebody an automatic start of the programm Sapphire Trixx after a graphic card switching? Is it possible to give arguments to the program on startup?

Thanks in advance!

[Better late than never]

They are not all ddr3 as witnessed: Compare Certified Graphics Solutions I have an Hd 5650M with gddr3 which far outperforms the ddr3 variant: 3DMark03score is: 27261 3DMarks:hi2:
3DMark05 is: 16896 3DMarks:hi2:
3DMark06 score is: 9533 3DMarks :hi2:

3DMARK11 score is 1530 :hi2:
3DMARK VANTAGE: 5126

Thats more or less 7670/7690m(ddr3) performance so yes around GT540, GT630 should be the same.
