Thanks for the offer, but I normally like to snag up the 0% financing deals.

Is the Auroa as upgradable as the Area 51? If I snag a desktop, it would be nice to upgrade down the road.

A desktop is a desktop, they are quite upgradeable just less expansion slots on the Aurora as it is mATX where the Area-51 is full ATX (4 slots vs 7)

Whats up with the price difference of the Aurora R3 vs. the ALX??? Can "active cooling" and more lighting really justify such a great difference in price or is there something else in the components that im missing?

6970 CFX<580GTX, but not by much.
    2820XM>i7 950 therefore 2920XM>i7 920

So it won't be too much of a downgrade. Get it if you really want to bust out that much cash for it. I personally would get a decent spec desktop and laptop with that money. Then you could get both portability and maximum performance.

I think the 6970 CF is more on par with GTX 460's in SLI no?? Unless Im misunderstanding and your saying a single GTX 580?
