    Hi guys,

As some of you know, I have an aluminum Macbook with the 2.4GHz. I've had some pitting where my wrist goes right on the seam, looks like tiny spots. When I rub my fingernail over the dots I can feel that it's like a small cavity. I'm guessing this is from the natural sweat (not much for me) on my palms/wrist? Is there anything I can do about this, or anything Apple can do either? Thanks in advance,

    -Colton

I myself like putting on Macpads from Macstyles, which works as protection... there are other brands of palmrest protectors too.

even without I've never actually had anything like that happen though, but everyones body chemistry is a bit different, so it could only affect certain people.

You can call Apple I'm not sure what they would do. That's just they way it is, you could get a gard to stop it from happening more.

My macbook (late 2008, aluminum) has that too, exactly as you describe. It doesn't bother me, and you don't really notice it unless you rub your palm against it.

Hm, just curious - do the new 2010 mbp 13" carry the same pitting problem?
