I can't find any info on this BIOS. What does it fix or improve? Can anyone report on it? I'm hesitant to use an unofficial BIOS. Is it actually the "beta" BIOS to fix keyboard lag? (I don't have keyboard lag, I don't use the synaptics touchpad driver.)

EDIT: Here's a quote from Chastity on the ROG forum:
"213 was developed to address some people's issue with the keyboard and trackpad not working properly."

Guess I'll stick with 211 since my keyboard is fine and I never use the trackpad (disabled it in BIOS).

I think I found out....it is meant too fix the track pad and keystroke issues some were having...if that all then I don't need it...have never had an issue...:)...but if it makes anything else better or improve...I might update

Hmm well ive read of people doing a repaste then their fans stay at 100% (usually by messing up some connection), but this doesnt sound like your scenario correct?

Only thing I can think of would be to just give 211 a shot, and if your opposed to that then just open it back up, check the connections and paste.

Actually, I'm to afraid to update my bios, I never know if it bricks or not and my warranty is gone.
And which connections do you mean? This could be the cause.

EDIT: I've also noticed that my cpu temp decreases when my gpu temp increases(load ofc).

I'd be a lot more afraid to tear my computer apart to re-paste than I would to update the BIOS. I've updated BIOS on many computers and never had a problem. Just follow directions.

    The same goes for disassembling.
My vbios and BIOS 209 update were successful, but after reading thread with unsuccesful bios 211 flash I don't want to flash it again.

Seagate will bring out new Firmware!!

    German news from Computerbase.de:

Im Seagate-Forum kooperieren betroffene Nutzer mit dem Hersteller um das Problem zu lösen. Die aktuelle Firmware SD24 behebt kleinere andere Bugs – beispielsweise Verzögerungen bei PC-Diagnose unter Windows – und an einer neuen Firmware zur Problemlösung wird gemeinsam mit Betroffenen gearbeitet.
