I'm trying to decide on a laptop to buy . I wanted to get the best screen as I spend a lot of time watching moies/netflix etc, so I was wondering if people who saw two or more of these screens had a preference.
A friend who saw the OLED and Razer QHD said he'd prefer the OLED by a lot but wanted to see what others think. I couldn't find too mcuh about the Aero QHD, and the 120hz on the Alienware qhd sounded pretty nice, although Alienware 17 is more of a desktop replacement than a laptop. Thanks for reading!

Just for clarification, OLED has been mentioned as the best, the Aero has no QHD, only FHD, the 4K has been announced but not yet available, and the RAZER QHD is last gen, the new gen has the option of 4K or FHD. Independent of screen, you mentioned the alienware 17, yes it has a QHD screen, not nearly as crisp as the OLED on the 13 but at a 120Hz TN screen at least a bit smoother at gaming. Most certainly, the 17, has better gaming performance, if willing to deal with possible heatsink issues, which would be most likely encountered on the 13 anyways, but manageable if willing to tweak, such as repasting, maybe even excel at cooling after that.

I didn't know about the 4k razer, if anyone could tell me how it looks that'd be great. I'm still up for the 2016 qhd+ razer blades so I'm interested in info about those too.

For additional clarification, I'm not talking about the aero 15, which only has fhd, but about the aero 14, which has a qhd ips display. Heard good things about the battery on it, hopefully they're true.

Indeed I was thinking of the Aero 15, thanks for the clarification about the 14. About the Razer, I have the FHD version, but in this forum, it is not recommended due to reliability and quality control issues, although I have no issues with mine, knock on wood...hehe. As far as Alienware, you can search the threads, yes the OLED is amazing, but you might encounter thermal, heatsink, issues.....needing a bit of work to get it working at potential, maybe not, who knows, but from what I read, worth the hassle, if need be. Recommendation of the ones cited, definitely the 17 even if some tweaking is necessarily, just for the performance increase, since the OLED doesn´t compensate for that.

Yeah I heard Razer Blades do have quality control issues but another friend has been using his for years, so I guess a bit of luck is involved : ). I heard about the Aw 13 heat issues, but I also heard how amazing the screens are, so it might be worth the hassle to repaste etc if the screen is really that good, especially because I watch a lot of movies. Sadly none of my nearby bestbuys/computer shops seem to have them on display so I can't be sure. 120z qhd with a 1070 is certainly exciting, but the sheer size/weight of the laptop is making me stop and think a bit more, as it'll be a real hassle to try to carry the thing around.

If the question is the screen quality, OLED all the way. Not even a fair fight.
